Marc Perreault - member since January 2001

Marc is a 35 year-old bass from Manchester. He's not sure if 35 is young or old (it's all relative, dear). Marc works in Human Resources and he is currently living in Bangalore India doing some consulting work. He will be living there through August and will be joining us again in September,  He is missing everyone, and can't wait to add his unique sense of humor back to the mix.

Marc has been with the Chorus for more than five years and has been very active in the group. His favorite activities include reading, watching films, and hanging out with us chorus folk. His favorite movie is Auntie Mame. His favorite musical is Rent. Marc's favorite singer is Howard Jones (whom I got to see with Marc recently in Londonderry). His favorite book is The Joyous Season by Patrick Dennis (man, he's making me do research already). Patrick Dennis also wrote Auntie Mame. Joyous Season is about two New York sophisti-kids who move to Massachusetts after their parents decide to divorce on Christmas Day. It is described as a funny and razor-sharp look at family and marriage.

Marc's most memorable moment with the chorus was the Disney trip with the guys. The two chorus songs that he never wants to hear again are Make Our Garden Grow and Toyland. He could also do without ever hearing Julio and Willie's To All the Girls I've Loved Before! Marc would someday like the Chorus to try Cell Block Tango from Chicago or Tango Maureen from Rent. The chorus song that Marc will perform for his maker, when asked, will be Heat Meiser from last winter's show.

The question that Marc would like to see on the next questionnaire is "If you could have one night of passion, who would it be with?" His response would be Rock Hudson. Marc's goals for the Chorus are to keep growing, perform to fuller houses each year, and also to become a force in the community. Let's all hit the gym and arm ourselves!
