New Hampshire Gay Men's Chorus

David Greer - member since January 2001

Let us have a look at David, our purple-wearing second Tenor on the end. David is 48 and partnered to Rex Richards. They now live in Kittery, Maine, but recently moved from North Hampton. David has been in the chorus for six years and works as a bookkeeper (the only job that has three double letters in a row).

David's favorite activities include competing in Triathlons, playing Bridge, and eating ice cream (simultaneously). So, if Bridge and eating ice cream are two of the events, what is the third? His favorite movie is Harold & Maude (ranking number 45 in the American Film Institute's top 100 comedies). David's favorite book is The Book of Salt by Monique Truong.

David's favorite bands and singers are Kansas, U2, Indigo Girls, and Leo Kottke. A little online research showed Leo to be described as an American acoustic fingerstyle guitarist and he has actually put out several albums. David describes him as THE American finger-style guitarist, and states that Leo has put out approximately eighteen albums.

David's best moment in the chorus was singing out in Orlando. David is not a fan of country music at all and never wants to hear those types of songs again. I guess it will not be a Hard Candy Christmas for him this year. He would like the chorus to try the song Noel Noir. He heard it performed by Amare Cantare on the seacoast and describes it as very haunting.

When David meets his maker, he will perform This Is My Song. The question he would like to see on the next profile is "What is your favorite color ?" As we see David wearing some shade of purple every Tuesday, we know his answer to that question. Finally David's goals for the chorus are to go on a European Tour or perhaps tour Costa Rica. Thank you, David.
